Ladies and Gentlemen

unfortunately there is still a problem when editing the layouts in AMOR. After Aescudata support tried to solve the problem, different versions of Infomaker and PowerBuilder were noticed. Can you help us on how to proceed here? Can you provide us with an update?

InfoMaker and PowerBuilder MUST be the same version if you are sharing Reports/DataWindows between the two.

Hi Angelika .. getting an update for PB will not rectify the issue. The developers of the PB Application will need this new PB version but then must recompile, QA & System Test their App along with your InfoMaker's version. Then redeploy the finished products back to the users.

It would be much easier to tell the InfoMaker users that they have to uninstall InfoMaker 2021 and install InfoMaker 2017 that is the same build number of PowerBuilder 2017 you are using. As Chris said, upgrading PowerBuilder will take time to coordinate. Once that happens, then the InfoMaker users will need to upgrade to match.
