Resolved PowerServer ToolKit version used to deploy the application

I'm operating  Appeon Server 2016 build(1130) on the customer site.  
 
Eventhough the Appeon Server 2016 build(1130) has distribed  on Appeon Powerbuilder 2017 R3 build 1880, I couldn't  operate with the message " Failed to run the application because the PowerSer version is inompatible with the PowerServer ToolKit version used to deploy the application" 
 
I'd like to know I cannot use Appeon Sever 2016 on the Appeon Powerbulder new version anymore?

Hi Chae-Sang;

  Appeon 2016 is not compatible or distributed with PB2017R3. PowerServer 2017 is distributed with PB2017R3 (build 1880). PB2017R3 is also compatible with PowerServer 2019 with the latest MR (maintenance release) applied.

Earlier versions (releases) of PB2017 (ie R1/R2) were compatible with Appeon for PB 2016.

Chris, you can deploy from PB 2017R3 (1858) to a PS 2016 install.



The newest PB 2017R3 (1880) that allows you to install to PS2019 removes the capability of installing to PS2016.

Yes ... I believe that was the last build of PB that could deploy to Appeon PB 2016.

PS 2016 WAS compatible with PB 2017 R3 build 1858.  The latest update for R3 included PS2019 support and eliminated PS 2016 support.

Hi,

Do you package PowerSever 2017 application and install it to Appeon Server 2016? please try deploy application to Appeon Server 2016 directly from Toolkit 2017.
