Hello,

I installed PowerBuilder cloud 2017 and uninstalled it, then I installed PowerBuilder 2017 Universal edition, check PowerServer toolkit. After that installed PowerServer 2017 but the Powerserver toolkit never shows on PowerBuilder 2017. Anyone knows what I missed and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon;

   The PB IDE Edition behaviour is also controlled by its license. I suspect that you still have the "Cloud" license associated with your PB  login. If so, the Universal install will only show you the Cloud features - that is no PowerServer Toolkit toolbar in the IDE. If this is the case, just drop by the User Center and release your Cloud license from your named account and then associate the named user (you) with the Universal license.

HTH

Regards ... Chris

This is rather subtle...

Also, I have an employee with a Standard license that can’t switch to the Universal license I assigned to him.
