Hi PowerSphere,

Can I use PowerServer to host Common Web Services (applications) written in PowerBuilder ?

Even Web Services has been around for a decade or so - it seems unuseable (i.e. lacking basic  functionality)

Especially when using PB NVO as Web Services...

Regards

Georgios

Hi Georgios;

  The PowerServer product is really a "helper" to a full fledged Application Server like: IIS, JBoss, WebSphere, Weblogic, etc. PowerServer is designed to help the Appeon Web and Appeon Mobile products enable, deploy and process runtime PB App requests - but through its host App Server. Its very specific to Appeon Web/Mobile functionality only at the moment.

  For PB NVUO's as Web Services - as they are .NET based - you would need to use IIS.

HTH

Regards ... Chris
