"Powerbuilder 2022 build 1892" cannot connect to Git, but "Powerbuilder 2019 build 2082" can, with the same parameters (Repository URL, user ID and password), both from the same machine (Windows 10 22H2).
I have access to the repository with GitLab and "Git bash".

The login error (pull) says:
Failed to perform the specified operation. Please make sure you can connect to the server repository.
Detail Error Info: failed to convert string to wide form: El parámetro no es correcto.

Any ideas?

Do you have any special (unicode) characters in your git password? Maybe there is a problem with its conversion.

Hi Jose,

We can’t reproduce the issue in our test environments. Are you able to reproduce the issue in all your environments?

Regards,

Kitty

I'm not using GIT but I seem to remember that there was a time/version when you had to connect using the password/token in both the user field and the password field. In later versions, I think that might have changed and now you CAN (have to?) use the userid and password.

Maybe someone else can help you out on this one.

regards

Hi Jose,

I tested in Spanish environment (replaced the localized resources), but I still didn’t reproduce the problem? Is there a special character in your password?

Regards,

Kitty

Hi Kitty,
My password is made with letters and numbers, all fields are informed with ASCII characters, the most "strange" character is a "-" in the URL, but as I said with PB 2019 they work.
