Hi we are currently using powerbuilder 2017 R£ LTS - which we develop on windows 7 and the executable is ran on windows 10 as well. We need to upgrade to 2019 R3 LTS and I know it can be developed/ ran on windows 10 but can it also be ran on windows 7?

Hi,

We have some applications developed in PB2019 R3 and several customers (heck even some of our own directors are still on windows 7).

No problems whatsoever!

regards.

In addition to what Chris has stated, anyone can easily check the supported operating system environments for any Appeon release of PB by looking at the very start of the "Installation Guide" documentation under "System Requirements", which is available online. Here is a link to that information for PB 2019 R3:

Best regards, John

Hi Carolyn;

   PB2019R3 is not W7 compliant. Appeon dropped support for that O/S right after Microsoft did.
