There is not a short answer to this. Normally you should update pfc's to your pb equivallent version. But this isn't a simple task. Depending on how old is the version of pfc you are currently using it can require lot of work and testing. So the important questions would be: a) how old is the version of pfc you are using? b) have you done any changes -customization to the pfc / pfe layer?
I've been using the PFC for the better part of 25 years. While there have NOT been many changes/updates to the framework recently, I recommend you upgrade the PFC/PFE libraries if they pre-date version 2019, if for nothing else than to include Resize service support for newer visual controls (such as the web browser control, for example). I scanned the pfc_n_cst_dwsrv_multitable object's code in the latest PFC release last night and there have been no changes in that object since version 12.5, and no significant changes since 8.0.
