PBv12.1, build 7055
Windows 10, 64 bit platform
Oracle 12C

We use SAVEAS to save reports we create. We can save as .XLS, which is Excel 5 and 8, but we cannot save in the .XLSX format (Excel 12).

I've read in this forum that PBv12.5.1 can SAVEAS to Excel12's format of .XLSX.

Is there a way to SAVEAS a .XLSX file from PBv12.1 using Ghostscript?

Thank You,

Olan

Hi Olan;

  Here are all the runtime details from my PB 12.x Help. Just change the DLL name numbering from 126 to 125, 121, 120 (as required) for your PB 12.x release ....

One more tip: If it doesn't work try to put Sybase.PowerBuilder.DataWindow.Excel12.dll in the same directory as the EXE file.

Hi Olan;

  It's the same for PB 12.x as it is for Appeon PB. If you open the PB Help and search for the keyword "runtime", then follow the link to the "list of files" by feature, you will see that the XLSX format requires a few extra DLLs plus the .NET runtime to be installed.

Well, I tried that and got this:

This is the PBv10.5 HELP file. I don't seems to have a newer PB HELP file, and THIS one doesn't list what I need. I have looked.
