Resolved PBCLTRT115.msi

In Powerbuilder 11.5 we used to have a MSI file PBCLTRT115.msi that installed the sybase runtime files. Is there a similar MSI file that will install run time files for Powerbuilder 2019 R2?

Hi Vinod;

  Yes, that MSI can be created by running the PB Packager Utility that is included with every Appeon PB IDE Instillation.  HTH

Hi, Vinod - Look in the Windows Start menu under Appeon PowerBuilder 2019. You can find a description of it in the online PowerBuilder publication "Application Techniques".

I generated the MSI file using PB 2019 R2 PB Runtime Packager but what I noticed is that when I install the MSI file it doesn't install the attached files in the C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_32 folder. The PB 11.5 Runtime Packager generated MSI file created these files. Any thoughts?

Why do you need GAC32 folder? All the various legacy PB 11.x .NET targets (WinForm, WebForm, etc.) are discontinued. They have been replaced by PowerServer and the .NET DataStore that utilizes .NET 6 and designed to be deployed self-contained.
