We are migrating an application from PB2017 to PB2022R3.

As part of the documentation for migration it speaks to the following:

RichTextEdit control and RichText DataWindow changes - - Upgrading PowerBuilder Applications (appeon.com)

What does this mean?  What changes are needed in an application?

Many thanks,

Brent

Which RTE option are you currently using in your PB 2017 app?  TE Edit?  Or did you supply your own TX TextControl license?

Try upgrading and test. You probably won't have to make any code changes to get RichText DataWindows to work properly.

We do not use a third party product.  We use what PB has out of the box.  We have identified a few issues that we need to re-engineer and will need to see where else we can find rich text references and test.
