Hello:

Are there any suggestions for speeding up loading of PB 2019 R3 applications running over a VPN connection?

Hi, Nasim -

Consider installing the application on each user's local machine. Then the application and the runtime DLL's do not have to be transmitted over the VPN, only the data during execution. Another alternative would be to use a remote desktop solution, such as Citrix, where the application runs on a network server and not over the VPN. Trying to execute the application over a VPN is perhaps the worst solution, performance-wise.

The application is already installed and runs on the user's local machine. Most of the slowness is on application load and initial user security setup which goes through some cursors.
