Hello, I'm trying to generate pbl from a version control system.

I'm using SVN version control system. My original pbl, pbt and pbw  are located in \pcf_ci1, and my sources are located in \pcf_ci1\ws_object/myfeeling.pbl.src.
Here is the debug output:
Unable to process map file: \pcf_ci1\myfeeling.pbg
\pcf_ci1\myfeeling.pbl cannot be refreshed.
PBORCA_SccClose.
I tried to copy the sources files to \pcf_ci1\ but nothing change
Can you help me?

You should not be using .PBG with SVN source control. PB 2017 and newer supports SVN natively. I strongly recommending upgrading to PB 2019 R2 since you are using SVN because we have made major enhancements: https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019r2/whats_new/ch01s08.html

By the way, 2019 R3 (currently in beta) is getting even more SVN enhancements: https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019r3/whats_new/Source_control_enhancements.html

Hello, I fixed my problem. It turns out that orcascript command was waitting for a bom encoding instead of utf-8. I put my lesson learned here: https://github.com/mahugnon/PowerbuilderWiki/blob/master/src/PBLRegeneration.md

I tryed PB 19 R2. Yes pbg are no longer generated but, orcascript doesn't without it.

With PB19 R3 do we still commit PBL?
