Please email our product management team at product@appeon.com to understand why this change was made. But regardless why I don’t see you have a choice not to upgrade. One day your users will be on Android 11.

Hi Mathews;

   Unlikely that you would be able to but if so, the GA version could corrupt the App's source if modified.

Given what Chris said, how about sharing with us why you need to do this and maybe we can suggest different way to solve your problem?

FYI -

   Simply changing the headers in the exported file - srd, sru, etc - is not sufficient to allow the older version of the object to work with the newer vertsion of PowerBuilder.

   Ask me how I know!  :)

There is no difference in source code from one version to the next except for:

Editing a DataWindow and saving might add new properties.

If the developer uses a new feature in a userobject/window.

Usually the actual source code doesn't change much during a migration to a new PB version. I'm guessing it's mostly changes done to the compiled code in the PBLs. It might be possible to use the older version's orcascript executable to build compatible PBLs from the source code.
