Resolved New Composite DW for report purposes

Hello,

Will it not be good, if we could have a combo of dw facilities in one (composite) dw for reporting purposes ? Like,

Header Band - a freeform 
Detail Band - Grid
Footer Band - Gird or FreeForm (Choice to be there)
Summary Band - Grid or freeform  (Choice to be there)

Sometimes we feel like hitting a road while designing in grid datawindows.  Could not do so freely as we do in Tabular or Free form.  And we require the facility to adjust the columns widths, at runtime, as we do in Grid dw.  

Is there any way to mimic these facilities, in reporting ?

It is possible to mix dw types. We have often used a tabular dw as a main dw and then grid dw as a nested report in the detail section.

This gives us the ease and layout in the headers & footers with a nice box grid report with all the details.

It's a bit of a faf but the result is very good. I'm sure you could try something like that.
