Hi would appreciate some help with an error I get ever since going to PB17.

When using Nant.exe to build an MSI package I get a R6034 error related to the MS Visual C++ runtime library.

r6034 error

Wondered if anyone could help with a way around this issue.

Didn't happen with PB12.5

Kind regards

Sean Ogilvie

According to the help, it uses:

atl100.dll

msvcr100.dll

msvcp100.dll

Hi Chris, Thanks for that prompt response.
I also get this error for atl80.dll
Is that also not required?
Cheers
Sean

Yes, you can remove all xxxxxx80.dll's from your list. As Roland point's out .. check out the PB Help under the keyword search "Deployment" for the exact list of "PB Run time files". As you can see, the xxxx80.dll's are now replaced with xxxx71.dll names.

Hi Sean;

  FYI: The PB2017Rx Apps and the PB run-time do not need or use the MSxxx80.dll's any more. Those DLLs can be removed from the ANT build list.

Regards .. Chris
