Resolved Multiuser Appeon PowerBuilder Development Environment

Are following environment are supported or will be supported in future releases:

1. PowerBuilder IDE working on Citrix or Terminal server ?

2. Multiusers PowerBuilder development environment on Windows (any other OS) with Served Licenses (not per Seat)?

 

I just want to make clear , my question relates to IDE (dev Tools) not application build in PB.

Hi Zahid,

There are no plans to support the IDE running on remote desktop, such as Citrix.  But we do have some customers using this way without problems.  Just please understand not officially supported.

No, we do not plan to change to floating license model.  PowerBuilder is licensed on a per named developer.  Of course, you can reassign the license to a different developer at anytime.

Thank you @Armeen for confirming PB pathway for multiuser env. I thought response would be same what you said , but wanted to confirm from the Appeon Maestro.
