Is PB2017R3 can support new MSOLEDBSQL connection or must upgrade to 2019R3?

MSOLEDBSQL is a 2019 feature which will not be available in 2017.

In PB 2019/PB 2021, the MSOLEDBSQL feature doesn't support version 19 of the driver. PB 2022 is required for that.

We are on PB 2019 Build 2170 so don't have this driver, we are using SNC which has been unsupported by Microsoft for 10 years I think. We will be jumping to PB 2022 in a couple months and will use this new driver.

In order to be able to utilize MSOLEDBSQL driver v19.1, however, you must use PB 2022 (or later).

John is right, PB 2019 R3 supported v18.x of MSOLEDBSQL driver. If you want v19.x you MUST upgrade to PB 2022: https://docs.appeon.com/pb/whats_new/Updated_system_requirements.html
