That's just the point. We had already done a full migration from 2019 R2 to 2021 R1 and SVN was updated, then all other developers installed PB 2021 and connected to the SVN workspace and brought down the targets, then one of them updated an object and when I did my SVN Update and Refresh to get the latest, that's when this message appeared. So what triggered it to think we needed to do a full rebuild again? That's what I'm confused on.
Ahhhh ... That could be a strange side effect of this release. If the application name in the PBT file does not exactly match the application object name (including its "case"), this message will keep coming back everytime you open the associated workspace. The fix is to edit the PBT file using notepad and correct the App Object name. HTH
I think you're on to something here Chris. After subsequent SVN commits and updates, we are no longer getting this message, so I'm guessing one of the developers did in fact have a different target and or target name which has now been synchronised.
It wants to know if you should use the version 1288 compilers and run-time (aka PS2021 GA release) on this App. Since PB2019R3, the runtime is now decoupled from the IDE. So now one IDE can manage many Apps of different PB Runtime builds. ;-)
If you accept the new 1288 build prompt, the IDE will do a migrate / full build of your App's source code to make it v1288 ready.
Regards ... Chris
