Only supports Windows OS.  On Mac you would need to run Bootcamp or something like that to get Windows OS.

is there any way of running on a mac os rather than a boot camp situation ?  Is there a plan to ? Can a mobile run on mac os or is there an emulator ?

No plans to natively support macOS.

Yes, you can setup a terminal server. Microsoft has created a remote desktop client for macOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-remote-desktop-10/id1295203466?mt=12

I'm not sure if there is issue running IWA or not, but even if there is you can always use the browser approach. The browser approach works.
