Resolved Localized version of Infomaker and localized runtime

Hi,

our customers would like to have a localized version of Infomaker like all other reporting tools do have

( crystal report, reportbuilder, ssdt, ...)

localized version for the IDE ... not only runtime files

 

Any hope for the future?

Witch Tools do other non english  speaking customers ( end customers) are using for reporting?

 

We are also using SSRS  and the Repirtbuilder but our ORACLE customers do not like this, too!

Will there be a localized runtime for Powerbuilder and Infomaker?

Hi Heino, Localization of the IDE itself and documentation is low priority relative to all the other features listed on our planned roadmap. This is because until now we have gotten very little interest in localization of the IDE, and as such, I don't think you should have high hopes this feature would be implemented in the next two versions. Of course, we always regularly monitor the market situation and will adapt the roadmap as necessary. That is to say the roadmap is not set in stone if there is good reason to change.
