Resolved IWA issue

Hi there,

I have done the procedure to run my app as IWA. The IWA shortcut successfully displays on my desktop, but when I run it, I get the following message:

AppeonIWAShell: Failed to launch the PB application. URL address is https://www.sinergylowells.net/qabdprod/iwarunner.html

I'm using:

- PB 2019 R2 Build 2328
- Toolkit 2020 Build 2323.00
- PS 2020 Build 2323.00

In addition, the system reports the following details:

Anyone written OAuth 2 for PowerServer 2021?

Hi Miguel,

How did you deploy the application? Did you use Toolkit or an application package? If you used the application package and changed the application profile name when you installed it, it will cause this issue.

Please follow the steps below to upgrade to PowerServer 2020 build 2703 to solve the issue.

1 Upgrade both Toolkit and PowerServer to build 2703.

Or please temporarily work around this issue in the ways below.

1 When using package to deploy the application, change web URL only but not application profile name. Or

2 Please open %application%/iwa.xml on web server and change the AppName to be the same as the application profile name, for example, qabdprod.

HI Miguel;

  It looks like your PowerServer WEB App was not deployed 100% or has been corrupted somehow as it seems to fail at start-up looking for nonexistent resources. Can you tell us ...

1) Does the App deploy & run OK on the local IIS PowerServer on your DEV machine via a Web Browser?

2) Does the App run OK As an IWA App from your local IIS based PowerServer?

3) Any deployment errors or warnings?

4) For the PowerServer URL that you are testing - does the Web & IWA App work on the same machine?

5) If the App is failing on the deployment PS machine .. how did you deploy the Web/IWA App?
