I love the new code editor included in the new Beta! My only issue is, that I like to change the default colors of the editor to more of a 'dark mode' (it's a lot easier on the eyes). There was no issue with this in the past, but now that the text the cursor is on is automatically highlighted, the 'light' highlight color, makes it impossible to read what is being highlighted (see the highlighted variable in the pic below). This is not a huge deal, but it would be nice if the 'highlight' color was changeable, or maybe just computed based on the background color? I love all of the new things that are being added to the IDE for Dev productivity, keep up the great work!

I was about to make a nearly identical post, Robert, but I beg to differ on one point you made: This issue IS a big deal, since it prevents me from using the PB Editor in the manner that I prefer. I have opened a public bug ticket 12755 for this issue.

I'm glad I am not the only one John! It would be nice to see a 'dark' theme for the whole IDE in my opinion, or at least the option to change the colors in the System Tree and Output windows as well.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for submitting this suggestion. We have transferred it as a requirement to the development team to consider adding settings for Highlight color.

Regards,
Ken
