Resolved Internal Browser very slow

Hi There

The webview2 browser is many times slower displaying web pages than Edge on the same PC going to the same URL.

I have tried both sets of runtime files (Fixed and Green) and the result is the same

There is a small PB2022 R3 application (in source code) that demonstrates the problem attached.

This is something that is going to really affect a system I am working on now.

Hi Brett;

  I tried your Test Case PB app with some URL's ..

  • Some opened up at the same speed 1-2 seconds
  • Some were slightly slower WV2 2.5 sec and Edge at 2 seconds

FYI: Testing on W10 real PC version 22H2 build 19045.4170

PS: Hardly any difference in the PB WV2 vs the EverGreen WV2 in my testing as well.

I compiled it as a Power Client so I could run it on other machines. It runs as you say on W10 machines.. Perfectly fine. I am now testing it on other W11 machines

BTW - The PowerClient on my W11 machine runs slowly
