Resolved Integrate PB with GIT using NetScope Client

Hello All
we need to integrate PB 2017 and 2019 with GITHUB

we use NetSkope Client to access internet

following the https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019/pbug/ch03s03.html 

i need to change the pb.ini in order to add

[SourceControlProxy]

Url=192.0.0.88

Port=80

Username=

Password=

Timeout=10

 

but in this case i don't know what will be the URL 

when i try to PUSH the code i have a simple error 

 

i can access the GITHUB repository from my web browser with no issue 

and the teams working in java and .net are allready using it.

our proxy setting 

is set to use a script

http://webcoe-config.corp.equifax.com/pac/wss_pac.js

 

could this will be the problem?

Hi Andres,

I am not sure how NetSkope works. But normally you should be able to see the proxy address and port in IE by going to Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings > Proxy server.

Hello Tom.

NetsKope is a Client that it is installed in every machine.

there is no settings in the Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings > Proxy server necesary

i will try to check with NetsKope suppor maybe they can help

NetSkope is not a GIT client

it is used as a Web Proxy

This feature is designed to use TortoiseGit client.  You can still use other client, but for the Git features to work inside the PB IDE TortoiseGit also needs to be installed.
