Looking for information regarding the installation of PB17.3 on a build-only pc.  I'm unable to generate a license because the generic user id assigned to the pc doesn't have an email address.

Thank you

You cannot use your own license on a build machine.  What you would need to do is either use the free standalone compiler (it is just the compiler with no PB IDE) on your build machine or you would need to purchase a full license for your build machine if you want also the PB IDE installed.

The free standalone compiler has no license activation procedure so email address should not be an issue.

If you really need to buy a full-blown copy of PB for your build machine, then you will have to follow the email address activation procedure.  What many customers do is use a generic email for that... for example IT@mycompany.com or PB@mycompany.com to assign to such license not associated with a specific developer.

I tried logging into the build pc using my email address.  When I tried to log in to PB using my email address for the first time on the build pc, I received a message 'The Account is already logged into PowerBuilder.  Please use another account.'  Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

That means that you have another copy of PB running somewhere that is using the same login. Just shut that instance down and the login on the build PC should now work OK.

Hi Kevin;

   Appeon PB & PS licenses are per "named" user. You just need to login as per your Appeon Website registered email address. The one that has also been activated to a copy of PB and/or PS.
