Does anyone have a way to set the datawindow picture control's .Border weight and color when using Line type borders?

I cannot see any additional properties so I am guess "nothing out of the box" but perhaps you have some idea of how to accomplish this?

I am using .border='4' for the line type but want to change the weight to a much heavier weight and its color from black to orange for example, but doing so in a variety of ways, in script, by default would be likely a PB change.

Hi, Joseph -

You will probably have to draw your own border. I suggest turning the DWC's border off so that it's box border doesn't interfere with your makeshift border. Depending on the effect you are trying to achieve, you might consider using a rectangle object "behind" the DWC, choosing color properties, sizing and positioning it to give the appearance you desire.

For example:

Thanks John, basically its what ended up doing but its a drag on the datawindow adding objects to what should be properties (in my opinion at least)

I believe if the datawindow objects had more accessible properties it should have less drag on the datawindow than creating objects and setting properties on those objects and the additional powerscript to manage these "hack and slash" objects like setting visible, not visible, colors etc on all those extra objects.
