Hi All,

Since Micosoft is retiring Internet Explorer, we are moving to Edge browser.

In my application when I open an html file using the Edge browser, I want to get the link opened in the browser; also I want to send a popup message if user accidentally closes the browser before the page loads.

Is there any way I can achieve this, with the help of OLE object and IE handler I could achieve it using InternetExplorer.

But I cannot find a way to do it with edge.

Take a look at the following links:

Working with WebBrowser - - Users Guide (appeon.com)

WebBrowser control - - Objects and Controls (appeon.com)

Those will probably have most of the information you will need.

Web control is a visual control, so you should place it on a window.

Andreas.

Hi Amruta;

   Have you tried using the newer Appeon PB version's "built-in" Web Browser Control instead of EDGE?

Regards .. Chris
