One of my team mates installed the PB2017 R2 Runtimes via the runtime packager but promptly misplaced the msi file so I can't perform an automated uninstall.  Is there a way to manually uninstall?  I want to install the R3 runtimes, and want to have a server that is a clean as possible.  Server is Windows 2012.   ALso most of the apps running on ther server are still PB 12.1.   Thanks.

Thanks for your advice.

What I found was this site:

https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-fix-please-wait-until-the-current-program-is-finished-uninstalling-or-being-changed-error/

I used fix number 5.  I downloaded and ran MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab.  Selected the pb runtime entry, and this program made the problem go away.  I was able to install the R3 runtimes with no problem.

Hi Mark,

Try uninstalling it manually from the program list.

Go to your Control Panel → Programs → Uninstall programs

Once there, look for the PowerBuilder runtime. Try filtering for "Run".

I currently have PowerBuilder 2017 R3 Runtime installed, I attached a screenshot of it. If you have the 2017 R2 runtime installed, it should look similar but it should say R2.

Cordially,

Mariano C.

Install R3 on top of R2, there was a conflict with the initial 2017 version.
That's what I think, to have what the rest thinks.
Thank you
