How can I implement ws_security in powerbuilder universal edition 2017, to invoke a webservice using SOAP WS-Security Username Authentication. Ideas?

Hi Oscar,

AFAIK for the time being the only option is to create a WCF proxy from old PB.Net (code into an NVO) and then call the generated assembly from PB2017 using a COM Callable Wrapper. The thread was already discussed here:

Unfortunately, for the next future I do see a change in WCF native support, see here:

PB 2017 R2 adds an new REST client and PB 2017 R3 adds support for OAuth2.  This is the way we are recommending.
