Resolved How to get session history from AEM

Hi Gurus,

How to get session history from AEM, have to submit to the management.

   Thought: What a PB App that reads & summarizes the PS log files for AEM activity?

I agree on this approach.

That's what logs are meant for.

AEM -> Server -> Logging -> Server Log contains all info you need, just set it to Developer or Debug mode.

If I understood correctly, Anthony wants to get the historical activity before logs had been turned on our implemented the server APIs.

I don't think that exists - if you mean a history of all connections to your powerserver app over say last 60 days?

On every connection we take the session info ( session id, ip address, etc.) and store that in a table, along with current date time.

those apis can you a fair bit of info. I get session id, both the external and internal ip address of the user (this is an external app ), the browser type, and the url used (allows me to see if they use http vs https). i also log what they typed in for their user name, allowing me to match a session to a particular login.
