Hi everyone,

We are working on a web migration project and we have some RESPONSE WINDOWS. When we go to the documentation we find: "When a response window of the Appeon Web application is opened in Internet Explorer, if you click the area out of the response window, the focus will be moved away from the window and you will not be able to set focus to the response window again".

This is correct, we also have the error. So, Have any of you worked with the response windows? Have you found any solution to try to maintain the same behavior in the application?

Thank you in advance,

Oscar Naranjo

And please provide information below to us for more study, thanks.

Hi Oscar;

  Interesting .. this looks like an old issue circa IE v7. I have certainly not personally encountered this behaviour with Appeon Wen (now called PowerServer Web).

  I enhanced my "Integrated" framework to work with Appeon Web starting in 2005. The framework uses a lot of its own internal Response windows for handling critical operations and this behaviour is not apparent. I just did a slew on testing on these this weekend under W10 and PS2017 with IE11 and again, could not replicate this condition. Each time I lost focus in the Response dialogue, I was able to regain focus again with no issues.

  I will forward this information to the Appeon documentation team.

Regards ... Chris

I agree that this is probably an old issue that has since been resolved. I don't see this problem with IE, Edge or chrome.
