I am using Autocompiler exe pbc17.0 exe to build the exe and pbd. The parameter which I see in pbc17.0 does not tell how to set the version number for PBD which is creating. I see only two options /v and /fvn which works only for executable but not for pbd.

Please suggest.

But this does not talk about pbd versioning. I am using /vn and /fvn as parameter but it only shows executable version number but not for the pbd.

Because it is not possible to version a PBD file.

 In chapter 4, you'll see the versioning parameters for App and Files. HTH

I haven't tried it myself but according to the Project wizard, version info is applied to the EXE and machine code DLL files.

Hi Roland ... yes, it will work for DLL's but not PBD's (as asked).

Hi Vipin;

  The PBC external compiler is the same as the PB IDE's "Project" object, feature wise. The Project Object in the associated painter cannot set the PBD/DLL version numbers either. Only in the EXE. Its been that way now since PB 1.0.

 What your asking for though is a "kool" idea! Please open a support ticket for this as an "enhancement" request.

Regards ... Chris
