I think i left power builder logon on at home and am unable to logon on at work. Is there a way to override or disable the logon on the other computer?

Lucky there is. Happened to me now and then. Here's how to re-enable your license:

  1. Log on to Appeon.com
  2. Choose > Account (upper right-hand corner) > User Center
  3. Choose > License Management (top menu to the right)
  4. Under PowerBuilder IDE > Choose > Logout User
  5. From list of logged in users select which one to log out
    I have two licenses

Follow any additional directions on screen.

Set your IDE to auto-logoff and you shouldn't have a problem, unless you forgot to exit PB before leaving work.

I should be able to log myself off from anywhere. It should not matter if I am an admin or not. I hope Appeon is listening.

Thank you

It may be a hung session of PB2019. The deployment process would close PB on the final write, although the day before was fine. Used pbc190.exe to see the error. The errors were overloaded methods. It deploys using pbc190.exe only. Now the executable fails on the create initializing n_msg from PFC.  Also pbc190.exe will not work since there are many pbls with pbrs to pbds. The desktop is being flattened and rebuilt since win10 1803 will not upgrade to 1903 or 1909.

Thanks again,

Paul

Hey Paul, sad to hear of your struggles. You may consider use a ORCAScript to do part of the deploy. Like build PBDs. As far as I remember ORCAScript can build PBD incl. PBR.

What I did back in PB 11.5/12.5 was to call PB IDE with command-line args to open workspace and deploy it. Requires you set up your projects, your targets, and your workspace to define order of target/project deploys.Since this uses the project definitions it surely handles "PBR per PBD".
