il_selected_tab = this.SelectedTab   this statement does not return the tab page when program is compiled. It does in the IDE.

I have tried my best all day to diagnose this. It does not throw a bad return code.   This is a normal tab object on a window. The selection changed event is where this code is.

I am at my wits end with this release of PB 2019. To many issues. No help

Windows 10

powerbuilder standard edition

version 2019 r2  build  2353

built july 19 2020

After putting in message boxes to test it appears the selectionchanged event is not firing at all when compiled but it does in the IDE. What am i missing??????

I need help on this ASAP. This is a very common thing with our applications.

Hi Anthony;

  Sounds like a mismatched run-time to me. Check your DLL versions vs IDE's

Thanks Chris for your help.

I have run the powerbuilder packager a number of times. It is next to impossible to know which DLL are required and which are not as the documentation is all over the place. Is there a list of DLLs with a date that are required for a 32

bit app. i cant seem to find a list.

Just do a keyword search for "runtime" in the PB help. That should lead you to a definitive list of DLLs used/required by PB feature.

I retried building the 32 bit set of DLL based on the doc you told me about. So far so good.

Hi Anthony;

  This is basic functionality. I would suggest opening a Support Ticket on this issue for more specific help.
