Hi there i'm having an issue trying to deploy my app to a remote webserver.
everything working fine on my local web server but when i try to deploy to a remote one i'm getting error 02005
Ftp working fine since i'm connecting without problems using filezilla.

All the connection tests inside PowerServer Toolkit configuration are ok

I've also tried to Package the application and install manually to the server but getting same error.

any ideas?

tia,

simone

Hi,
first, successful test means you can access the FTP root but you may not have permission to write files.
Second, AWS firewall is not FTP aware, and may not be translating the PASV command to external IP.
Be sure you told your AWS server the passive port range to use.
Test FTP from DOS prompt to debug the transfer.
Best,
.m

thank you Marco, permission to write files is ok. Anyway i've noticed that the folders are successfully created, while i get errors sending the files. Also passive port range looks ok. This is very strange, i've solved for now copying manually the files deployed on my local server to the remote one and everything working fine but i still havent figured out why the direct deploy fails..

hi again. i've finally figured out that enabling the "Require explicit FTP over TLS/SSL" solved the issue

I have the same issue on Appeon PowerServer 2020.  I cannot require SSL because I do not yet have a SSL Cert for this machine.   I get the same issue where I see the folders get created.  What can I do?

By checking the "Require" then I fail to connect to the servers altogether.

Any ideas?

Thank You in Advance
