Resolved Fileservice error in Stream

testing fileservice.aspx come out with error :

Appeon.FileService.Util.ParseException: Unable to read beyond the end of the stream. at Appeon.FileService.Parser.parse(Stream inStream) at Appeon.FileService.FileServiceExecutor.execute(HttpContext Context)

PowerServer2020 on Windows Server2012

logon to fileservice failed with return -1

any idea how to solve this?

Hi Zulmach;

  My suggestion would be to open a Support Ticket for this issue where you can better describe your environment in detail and then attach some PS log files for our support team to analyze in greater depth.

Hi Zulmach,

The following message means the Fileservice works correctly (also it is normal if you found some error logs in the AppeonFileService.log):

Appeon.FileService.Util.ParseException: Unable to read beyond the end of the stream. at Appeon.FileService.Parser.parse(Stream inStream) at Appeon.FileService.FileServiceExecutor.execute(HttpContext Context)

Please make sure that you grant the IIS_IUSRS user or Everyone user Full Control permission to the fileservice folder. And please provide the fileservice log under the fileservice folder for us for more study, path for reference: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\fileservice\AppeonFileService.log.
