Hi, when opening PB17, I got the following message: Failed to load license files. If the problem persists, please reinstall PowerBuilder. PB closes after closing the message box.

What causes this problem and is it realy necessary to reinstall  PB or is there a way around this? Thanks in advance.

Are you using an offline license or online license?

Have you upgraded to PB 2017 R3?  Really early versions of PB 2017 had a license bug.

Thank you for the reply. I updated to PB2017 R3, but now powerbuiilder gives the message 'This account is already logged in to Powerbuilder. Please use another account'.

I have a valid online account. What can I do now to use PB2017 R3
