Hi,

Just updated to PB 2019 R3 Build 2670, Runtime 19.2.0.2670 from PB 2019 R2 all CloudPro editions. I am using PowerServer (PB Edition 2020 Build 2670) and Ora Client 19, 32 bit. I was able to deploy to the power server without issues in R2, but in R3 I am getting the following error:

Fail to generate dwsql

If I test my connection in the Dababase Settings:

I can't connect.

using the Edit Data Source;

I can.

Suggestions? Should I be using the Oracle instant client?

The Oracle ODAC for 19c wasn't configured correctly, altered this and I can make a connection now.

You are correct Mike, the client can't connect. Any suggestions on what to change? I know the user name is good, SQL Plus can connect, and so can the PB client.

You need to fix your connection in the PS client database type profile configuration.  If it can't connect to the database then it can't generate the dwsql

sounds like your client workstation can't get to your oracle database, but your powerserver (on the server) can?
