Hi Frank;

  There is an EBF scheduled to come out within the next month for PS2020 which will address running your mobile Apps on Android 11. Note that you will need to migrate to PS2020 first though (and PB2019R2) as I assume that you are using either PS2017 or PS2019 with your PB2017Rx IDE.

Regards ... Chris

No, PowerServer 2019 build 2170 is NOT compatible with API level 29. You need to upgrade to PowerServer 2020 build 2670. This newer version is included with PowerBuilder 2019 R3 so please upgrade to your PowerBuilder version.

Good morning Armeen. Do you know when PowerServer 2020 build 2670 will be released to fix Android 11 issues?

Chris commented that this month but I don't see anything about it

Thanks

Hi Javier;

The PS2020 fixes (MR) was included with the PB2019R3 CloudPro release from earlier this month. PS users have confirmed on the related Android 11 tickets that PS Mobile apps are now running OK on this latest O/S release.

The PS2020 "production" servers need this MR as well. This is an EBF that Engineering is just starting to put together. I do not have an exact date from Appeon Engineering for this MR for production use. We are close though from what I hear. HTH

Your post said 2017 R2. Anyway, as Chris said 2019 R2 by itself is not enough. You need to apply the maintenance release that is scheduled for next month to get Android 11 compatibility.
