Resolved Do PowerServer & Ultimate Suite Get Along?

Good Day -

My team is currently evaluating (well, about to start if I get the right answer, here) Ultimate Suite for PB in PB2019. 

I am not expecting Appeon to provide support for Ultimate Suite, but I need to know if Ultimate Suite will work in PowerServer 2021 (still planning).

Sorry if the question is vague or in the wrong place. We just do not want to spend time evaluating Ultimate Suite if it will not work in PowerClient, PowerServer and all the other cool stuff we are planning. I figured since Appeon and Novalys are working so closely together, this community would know.

Hi Tom, Theoretically it should work since we are switching from JavaScript to native PowerScript and basically 100% of PB features should be supported.  But we cannot 100% say for sure until you test with the beta version, which we are targeting for January 2021.

Hello Tom,

As the developer of Ultimate Suite, what I can say is that if the new version of PowerServer is native PowerBuilder and it's run on the desktop, we'll make every effort to support it. With that said, I can't guarantee anything until we have a chance to try it out.

Brad, you make magic happen with PowerScript. I’m sure you will figure out how to make it work. PowerServer 2021 is much more powerful than previous generation.

IMO, there is a very good chance that it will work.   

But as Chris said PS 2021 is not available for beta, let alone release.

Hi Tom;

  The PB Ultimate Suite does not currently work with PowerServer.

  Since neither PS2021 or US for PS2021 is out, it's pretty had to comment any further at this time IMHO.
