     Ahhh ... DPB - What a  product! I built a "ton" of these types of PB Apps in its day and even had a framework for it as well.  Alas, Sybase ended DPB when they released PB 8.0. 

    Your choices to move forward from DPB are:

1) Migrate your DPB NVUO's to use PB's .Net Web Services. However, this feature is no longer being developed by Appeon. The bonus is that this feature will handle your existing PowerScript code. The negative side is that it is a deprecated feature in PB2017.

2) Wait for PB2018 and the release of the C# Web API feature that will allow you to build the "next generation" web services using the latest .NET Core Technology. The bonus here is that you will have PB WS's that are state-of-the-art .Net "managed" code with a high performance factor. The negative side is that you will have to rewrite your PowerScript logic in C# (however, Appeon will be providing migration features / tools).
