Hello,

We are migrating from ps 2019 to ps 2022 r3.  Whenever I pass a date into a datawindow, I get this error

Client enters a date range in a datawindow, I extract that date into a date variable and then pass it into the datawindow date argument.

we are using sql Anywhere 12

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi.

SQL Anywhere 12 is EOL for a long time... You should not expect to get support for a database that is so old. SAP SQL Anywhere 16 release date was 11 years ago. And v.17 (which I believe is the only version currently supported by SAP) is 9 years old.

Try to reproduce the issue in v.17, and open a case as suggested David.

The link you mentioned is about PowerBuilder and not PowerServer.

Andreas.

Hello David,

Thanks for your response.  On this page, it says that 12.x is supported so I'm a little confused.

Hi William,

The versions of SQL Anywhere explicitly supported by PS 2022 are SQL Anywhere (ODBC) 16 (16.0.0.2043 or later) or 17. The following link provides documentation on supported databases and their versions:

https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r3/Database.html

We recommend upgrading your SQL Anywhere 12 database and checking if the issue still persists. If the problem remains, please submit the issue to our Support Portal and provide a small reproducible case for us to investigate.

Regards,

David
