Hola Carlos:

En este caso cabe aclarar que PowerBuilder puede desplegar aplicaciones de 64 bits. Sin embargo, el IDE de PowerBuilder es de 32 bits. Entonces, requiere instalar el cliente nativo de Oracle de 32 bits para poder realizar la conexion.

Por favor intente con este cliente nativo y nos notifica del resultado.

Hola Carlos,

 

¿La conexión a la base de datos fué posible a través de SQLPlus? Primero te puedo sugerir asegurarte que la conexión se realizó con éxito fuera de PowerBuilder.

Simply add the PBORA120.DLL into your project, and you can connect natively to Oracle 10, 11, or 12 databases.

You need to use the "ORA Oracle" Database Interface.  As long as you have the Oracle Client installed (32bit), you then create a profile under "ORA Oracle" and then it should work as normal.
