Resolved CloudAppLauncher Not Installing the App

Hi All,

        Currently we are using Power Client with 2019 R3 2728  version and We migrated our source from 2019 R3 to 2021 (1506). I deployed the PC to the same webserver and when I try access from my machine CloudAppLaunce installing pop-up came but didn't installed anything. I have uninstalled the PB19 CAL but still it didn't worked. Now I have rollback the PC files from 2019 version but still I am not able to install the CAL in my machine and another machine.

 

The users which are all using is able to get the latest build files(rollbacked build from 2019 R3 2728) from the short cut icon. 

 

I tried removed the CAL ,PB Apps folders from "AppData\Roaming" and restarted my machine but didn't worked.  It just get closed after the below screen. I tried multiple  times and it get pass to 65% and then closed out.  I don't see the CAL in the installed program list.

Hi Danish;

  You also need to rebuild the Cloud App Launcher using PB2021's build 1506. Make sure that build 1506 is set in the IDE's Tools=>System Options Dialogue first. The use the Tools=>Upload Cloud App Launcher menu to build & upload the CAL in build 1506L. In your PC Project's "Runtime" tab, make sure that build 1506 is also selected. Now redeploy & test.
