Hello,

I made al Client deployment and it worked fine an several machines. Only one machine had a problem during downloading the library. It stoped downloading the files without any comment and didn't start the EXE. 

Starting it manually I got the messageBox "This is currently no matchi8ng version. Lowest supported version 21.0.0.1311" 

I think, several libraries or path settings were missing. So I copied all Files from my (working) installation in AppData/Roaming/PBApps/Application to this machine and after modifiying pbapp.ini and {apllication}.xml with the new paths, ist worked.

Any suggestions, why the download stopped?

To tried to install the program using the path %ProgramFiles% in an own LauncherProfile. But %ProgramFiles%" has beend translated to "ProgramFiles (x86)". And it didn't work.

How can I put it in ProgramFiles instead of hidden AppData? Why is there no Standard Profile?

Is it possible to let the User decide, if he wants to update the software via cloudApp Launcher or not?

thank you for your help, but the manual copy wasn't the reason. I did uninstall all and tried it again, but it didn't complete the installation. So my last chance was, to copy the files manually in the PBApps folder, only for testing, if it runs, when all files are complete. This test was successful

Now I made a new installation on a new machine and another customer.

After installing the launcher with admin rigths it started downloading the files (normally about 2900 files) 

But there were only shown "  .... of 2200" (about) files. After the last file nothing happend.

I tried installing a second time using the link, this time the message " Preparing application files ... of 1600" (about) 

and nothing happend again.

Starting the .exe manually in pbapp directory, there was the same Message Box like told before "This is currently no matching version. Lowest supported version 21.0.0.1311". maybe not all files were downloaded.

I do not find  the reason of this behavior. I tried to install it on my notebook and it worked.

Hi Stephan,

The app needs to be installed by the Cloud App Launcher.  You are getting the runtime version error because you manually copied things.  So I suggest you focus on resolving why it didn't install correctly instead of the runtime version error.

If you want your app installed to a different path than default value, you need to create a customized Cloud App Launcher: https://docs.appeon.com/ps2021/Customize_cloud_app_launcher.html

If deploying with either PowerClient or PowerServer, the Cloud App Launcher must be used to update the app.
