Resolved Cannot use the new Theme

Hello,
I want to use the new Theme in PowerBuilder project.
I set the Theme in the Themes tab in the Additional Properties of the application, but when I started the application - there is no effect on the display (even after restarting the IDE)
Am I missing something?

I use PB2022 R2 build 2819

Hi, Naomi ;

   As John correctly points out - there is a bit more to Themes than just setting this property in the Application Object via the App Painter. Especially, as your App moves from environment to environment on its way into production. I would also recommend that you never set the "Absolute Path" to a the Theme folder. Always use a "Relevant path" - especially critical for PowerClient and PowerServer deployments as well as C/S. For a good example on how to setup & use Themes for a PB App perspective, I would like to suggest that you download and study this OrderEntry Demo App ... http://chrispollach.blogspot.com/2024/05/2024r2.html   HTH

Hi, Naomi - 

There's a little more to it than simply changing the setting in the Application object.

I suggest you read through the online Help information regarding the use of Themes for PB 2022 R2. I think you will find it helpful.
