Not able to install PB2019R3 2728 and PB2019 2170 on same machine.

We have a requirement, sometimes to develop few changes in older version 2170 but not able to load older version without doing full build and run our application using IDE.

Wanted to use the older version along with current version R3-2728.

Please let me know on how to keep both the versions.

 

Downloaded PB runtime Dlls from the link below and placed in runtime folder. But not able to see the older version in drop down.

Hi, Prasanth -

The decoupling of the PB runtime DLL's from the IDE was not introduced until 2019 R3. Therefore, earlier releases of 2019 cannot co-exist on the same machine. I suggest you consider installing the earlier 2019 release on a virtual machine.
