Resolved C++ Redistributables

Using Powerbuilder 2022 Build 1892.

Does the system/computer deployed to still need the 2010 version of C++ Redistributable or what is the newest version that can be used?

Print Asynchronous in power builder
Images not showing in app when run in Amazon Appst...

PB 2022 requires newer version.  Please refer to docs accompanying each version what files need to be deployed:  https://docs.appeon.com/pb2022/application_techniques/Deploying_Applications_and_Components.html

Yes I did seen the following in the documentation:

"You must have Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (32-bit or 64-bit) installed,"

 

But I did not see a version.

Before PB2022 it was required to have 2010 version, correct?

So just that latest version can be used now?

Or can you point me to the documentation showing the version?

Apologies, I can not seem to find that information.

vcruntime140.dll - version 14.

On my laptop:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) - 14.34.31938

The one in the PB 2022 runtime folder is 14.29.30133
