Hi all

One of the features I like most about PB19 R2 is the support .net assemblies. The C# class importer is a very useful tool.

I noticed that C# events are not yet supported. The message I am receiving is "Delegate classes are not supported".

Do you plan to support events / delegate classes?

Hi  Yiannis,

Delegate classes are not supported. I will submit an enhancement request to Appeon Product Team to analyse and consider in a future release.

Regards,

Ken

Hi Yiannis,

I agree. This new interop seems very promising.

I assume there is added complexity in sending messages/triggering events/calling delegates across the interop barrier. Among them is differences in event handling within .NET vs. in PowerBuilder's VM. EX: PowerScript has no concept of multi-cast delegates in PowerScript.
