Resolved blob encoding in powerserver?

is blob with encoding supported in powerserver?

It sounds like it is NOT from the help in powerserver?  Is the encoding that is used by powerserver the same as the default that powerbuilder uses?

These are the encoding values as per powerbuilder: 

EncodingANSI!

EncodingUTF8!

EncodingUTF16LE! (default)

EncodingUTF16BE!

 

If it is not supported, is it planned?

Hi Mike;

  FWIW: I cannot find any documentation to support the Blob ("xxx", EncodingXXX!) command. However, I did see that going in the other direction (ie: String (lb_blob, EncodingXXXX!) is supported. So at this point, I am not sure if its just a missing documentation issue - although PS2019 help seems to say the same - or a missing feature altogether.
